Backend Developer

We are seeking a talented Node.js Backend Developer to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in backend development, database management, and API design. This role offers the opportunity to work on scalable and performance-oriented systems while contributing to innovative projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js.
• Collaborate with frontend and product teams to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Work with both relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases.
• Ensure code quality through testing, debugging, and reviews.
• Implement secure and reliable authentication/authorization systems.
• Monitor and optimize backend performance for scalability and responsiveness.
• Maintain documentation for services and APIs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

1–2 years of professional experience in backend development with Node.js.

• Strong knowledge of Express.js or NestJS.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs.
• Good understanding of relational and non-relational databases.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Good to Have (Bonus Points):

• Exposure to GraphQL.
• Familiarity with Docker and basic cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Understanding of caching (Redis, Memcached).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with microservices and message queues.
