Backend Developer

Location: Gulistan e Johar Karachi

Shift: Night 9 pm to 6 am.

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Backend Developer (Node.js) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have experience in building scalable backend systems, working with REST APIs, databases, and implementing secure server-side logic. You will work closely with our frontend team to deliver high-quality web applications.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js & Express/NestJS

· Design and build RESTful APIs

· Integrate databases such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL

· Implement JWT-based authentication & role management

· Optimize server performance and database queries

· Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code

· Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems

· Collaborate with designers, PMs, and frontend developers.

Required Skills & Technologies

· Strong knowledge of Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript)

· Experience with Express.js or NestJS

· Hands-on with MongoDB / PostgreSQL

· Knowledge of Mongoose / Prisma / Sequelize

· Understanding of authentication (JWT, OAuth)

· Experience with Git & GitHub

· Familiarity with Docker (plus point)

· Basic understanding of AWS / Render / Railway deployment (plus)

· Experience: From 1 to 3 years

Pay: From Rs70,000.00 per month
