Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP & Laravel
• Design, optimize, and manage MySQL databases
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code
• Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways
• Ensure application security, performance, and scalability
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues
• Collaborate with front-end developers and QA teams
• Maintain version control using Git
• Document application features and workflows

Required Skills & Technical Expertise

• Strong proficiency in PHP and Laravel Framework
• Solid experience with MySQL (queries, joins, indexing, optimization)
• Good understanding of MVC architecture
• Experience in developing RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
• Familiarity with Git / GitHub / Bitbucket
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, and security best practices

Good to Have

• Knowledge of AJAX, Vue.js, or React
• Experience with Laravel Livewire / Inertia.js
• Basic server knowledge (Linux, Apache/Nginx, cPanel, AWS)

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent experience

Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in PHP / Laravel & MySQL development
• Experience working on live production applications
