Backend Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced backend developer to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of server-side logic and a high level of proficiency in languages such as Laravel, PHP, and Node.js.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using PHP, Laravel and Node.js.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Design and implement efficient, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize product performance.
• Ensure high-quality performance, responsiveness, and reliability of applications.
• Implement data protection and security features.
• Participate in peer-to-peer code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and performance optimization.
• Use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor & AI) to improve code quality, productivity, and debugging efficiency.
• Understand and implement the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Provide training and support to internal teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven work experience as a backend developer.
• Strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, PHP, Node.js, and Python.
• Understanding of server-side templating languages.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Strong unit test and debugging skills.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month

• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
