Backend Developer (Fintech – NestJS)

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain the backend services of a digital wallet application similar to Easypaisa and JazzCash. The candidate will work on secure transaction processing, API integrations, authentication, and database management, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop RESTful APIs using NestJS (TypeScript)
• Implement secure authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth2, PKCE
• Integrate third-party fintech APIs
• Design and manage PostgreSQL databases
• Implement AES encryption for sensitive data (PINs, tokens, personal information)
• Ensure data security and compliance with fintech standards (KYC, AML, SBP/PTA guidelines)
• Implement logging, monitoring, and error handling
• Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and QA teams
• Support deployment and production issue resolution

Required Technical Skills

Backend Framework: NestJS (Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript)

Database: PostgreSQL, MongoDB

Authentication & Security:

JWT-based authentication

AES encryption

Role-based access control (RBAC)

API Development: REST APIs, JSON

Database Tools: TypeORM / Prisma / Sequelize

Version Control: Git / GitHub / GitLab

Preferred Skills

• Experience with fintech or payment systems
• Knowledge of transaction reconciliation and ledger systems
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Redis / caching mechanisms
• Experience in microservices architecture
• Understanding of payment security best practices

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent

2+ years experience in backend development

Prior experience in financial or transactional systems is a strong plus

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs120,000.00 per month
