  About the Role We are looking for a Backend Developer with strong expertise in Kotlin and the Vert.x framework to design and build high-performance, event-driven services. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in modern backend development, strong database skills, and proven ability to deliver cloud-native microservices at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Key Responsibilities
  Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Kotlin and Vert.x.
  Implement gRPC-based microservices to support scalable, distributed systems.
  Build efficient and type-safe database queries using JOOQ.
  Work with PostgreSQL or CockroachDB for robust data management.
  Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications on Kubernetes.
  Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless CI/CD pipelines.
  Ensure system performance, reliability, and scalability for production workloads.
  Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture planning Stay updated with latest backend technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.
  
  Must-Have Skills
  Programming Languages: Kotlin (strong hands-on experience).
  Frameworks: Vert.x (event-driven, asynchronous programming).
  Database Access: JOOQ for type-safe queries. Microservices: gRPC-based service development.
  Databases: PostgreSQL or CockroachDB. Cloud & Deployment: Kubernetes (container orchestration).
  Nice-to-Have Skills Prior exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-native services.
  Experience in distributed systems, scalability, and high-performance services.
  Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
