Position: Backend Developer (PHP Laravel)

Role Overview

The Backend Developer will be responsible for building and maintaining the server-side components of Dwelleo’s AI-powered real estate platform. This role requires strong experience with PHP Laravel, database design, and API development. The ideal candidate is a problem solver with excellent ownership and a growth mindset, capable of working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Technical Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic and APIs
• Build and optimize database schemas in MySQL
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security features
• Integrate third-party services (payment gateways, map APIs, etc.)
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Deploy and manage applications using Docker and AWS ECS
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical decisions
• Write unit and integration tests
  
  

Required Technical Skills

• 3-5 years of experience with PHP and Laravel framework
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development
• Proficiency in MySQL database design and optimization
• Experience with Docker containerization
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of AWS services (ECS, S3, RDS)
• Version control with Git and GitHub workflows
• Understanding of information system architecture and design patterns
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (PHPUnit)
