Job Description:
Responsibilities:
-
Design, build, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Java (8+) and Spring Boot
-
Develop scalable, cloud-native microservices following software engineering best practices
-
Perform data modeling, storage, and performance optimization using Amazon Aurora (PostgreSQL) and DynamoDB
-
Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality features
-
Build and maintain integrations with internal and external systems
-
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, deployments, and incident response activities
-
Ensure performance, security, reliability, and availability of backend services in production environments
Required Skills & Qualifications:
-
5–10 years of backend development experience using Java and Spring Boot
-
Strong hands-on experience with RESTful API development and microservices architecture
-
Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases
-
Strong experience with Amazon Aurora (PostgreSQL)
-
Familiarity with Amazon DynamoDB and efficient NoSQL data modeling
-
Solid understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and application performance tuning
-
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and build tools such as Maven or Gradle
-
Experience deploying, monitoring, and supporting services in cloud environments (AWS preferred)

Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, API Gateway, ECS, or EKS

Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging tools like Kafka or SQS
-
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
-
Knowledge of secure coding practices, API security, and OAuth2

Experience writing unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito, or similar frameworks

Monitoring and logging experience with CloudWatch and/or ELK Stack
Education:
- B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science / Information Technology

Exposure to React, .NET WPF, or React Native is a plus
