Backend Engineer (Python) - FleetGlue

The candidate is being hired via Taraki's headhunting service. This is a full-time remote opportunity (expectation to be available for US EST hours, i.e.. 7pm - 3am Pakistan time).

This role is ideal for a senior engineer who has been the primary decision maker, independently designed systems, and APIs from scratch.

The Role

• Lead end-to-end implementation of Python based services to ingest, store, tokenize/index, and search manufacturing documentation
• Architect scalable processing pipelines for documents, video, and mixed-media content by evaluating and integrating various tools (OCR, MMLMs, VLMs, YOLO etc.)
• Build infrastructure to support functionality including cycle time tracking and workflows
• Collaborate with ML, frontend, and robotics teams to deliver integrated solutions
  
  
  

You Bring

• Solid experience with Python backend development and ML, RAG, NLP architectures
• Proven track record leading service creation at scale
• Experience building search and indexing systems for unstructured data
• Availability to work US EST hours (i.e. 7pm to 3am Pakistan time)
  
  
  

Bonus Points

• Experience with high-frequency data streaming technologies (Kafka, ZeroMQ, RabbitMQ, ROS)
• Background in combining siloed data systems and breaking down information barriers
• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and infrastructure as code
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, MES/ERP systems, or IIOT
