Backend & Mobile Developer (Node.js + React Native)

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Backend & Mobile Developer with a strong foundation in Node.js and hands-on experience in mobile application development, preferably using React Native. The ideal candidate will be based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and possess 4 to 6 years of proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable backend systems along with mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend services using Node.js
• Develop cross-platform mobile applications using React Native (preferred) or equivalent mobile frameworks
• Integrate backend services with mobile front-ends
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and other developers to ensure smooth implementation of features
• Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and responsiveness
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to a collaborative development environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 4 to 6 years of hands-on development experience in backend systems using Node.js
• Strong knowledge and at least 2+ years of experience in React Native or similar mobile frameworks
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration techniques
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Must be available in Abu Dhabi, UAE

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies
• Prior experience in deploying mobile apps on iOS/Android stores
