Backend Operations Support Assistant & Driver

As Arabian Wanderers grows, we are hiring a responsible and proactive Backend Operations Support Assistant & Driver to manage backend logistics and on-ground camp operations across the UAE.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You will ensure smooth trip execution by overseeing logistics, equipment readiness, transportation, and camp setup, maintaining high standards and strict timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
Backend & Warehouse Operations

• Maintain cleanliness and organization warehouse, and storage areas.
• Prepare and manage trip logistics and packing timelines.
• Receive and organize grocery deliveries.
• Inspect, clean, and maintain tents, bedding, kitchen gear, portable toilets, trailers, and equipment.
• Conduct inventory checks before and after trips.
• Manage post-trip unloading, cleaning, storage, and reporting of damaged or missing items.

Driving & Logistics

• Safely drive 4x4 vehicles with trailers to desert and mountain locations.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and coordinate basic maintenance.
• Ensure safe transport of equipment, staff, and occasionally guests.
• Navigate off-road terrain using GPS and adapt to changing conditions.

On-Ground Camp Operations

• Lead camp setup and breakdown (tents, majlis, kitchen, toilets, seating areas).
• Maintain camp cleanliness and organization.
• Prepare simple meals (BBQ, breakfast) while ensuring food safety.
• Uphold high guest experience standards.

Time & Quality Control

• Take full ownership of operational timelines.
• Ensure tasks are completed on schedule and meet quality standards.
• Identify issues proactively and suggest improvements.

Requirements

• Currently based in UAE; willing to live in Ajman.
• Valid UAE driving license with clean record.
• Strong 4x4 off-road driving experience (with trailer).
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors.
• Basic cooking and food handling knowledge.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable.
• Confident English communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members.
• Trustworthy, punctual, and respectful of diverse cultures.
• Valid passport.

• Experience in outdoor tourism, camping, or logistics.
• Leadership mindset with hands-on attitude.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Inventory or warehouse experience.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
