Baker (Pastry)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Baker with hands-on experience in preparing high-quality croissants, pastries, and bakery products. The ideal candidate should have strong dough-handling skills, knowledge of lamination techniques, and the ability to maintain consistency, quality, and hygiene standards in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, mix, and bake croissants, pastries, and other bakery items following standardized recipes.
  • Perform dough lamination (rolling, folding, butter layering) to produce high-quality croissants.
  • Monitor fermentation, proofing, and baking times to ensure consistency and product quality.
  • Operate bakery ovens and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and food-safety standards in the bakery at all times.
  • Assist in inventory management of baking supplies and ingredients.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, texture, shape, and presentation of all items produced.
  • Collaborate with the bakery team to meet daily production targets.

Requirements:

  • 2–3 years of experience as a baker, preferably specializing in croissants or viennoiserie.
  • Strong knowledge of dough preparation, lamination, proofing, and baking techniques.
  • Ability to work early shifts, weekends, and in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Good understanding of food hygiene, safety procedures, and bakery equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to follow recipes while maintaining consistency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR3,500.00 per month

  • Croissant making: 2 years (Required)
  • Pastry: 2 years (Required)
