Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker+Pastry cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing artisanal breads along with high-quality desserts using traditional techniques, ensuring consistency, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. If you have a love for bread/dessert crafting and experience working with dough+desserts we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare artisanal breads and desserts to perfection from scratch.
  • Create and cook breads and desserts using traditional and modern techniques.
  • Monitor oven temperatures and cooking times to achieve desired results.
  • Knowledge of pre ferments, artisanal bread baking, stretch and folds.
  • Know how to work with delicate desserts.
  • Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and used efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation following food safety regulations.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Baker/ Pastry cook.
  • Familiarity with different bread baking procedures.
  • Ability to work with high-temperature ovens.
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Intermediate, Culinary training or hands-on experience of 2 years in bread/dessert making.
  • Experience in a high-volume restaurant setting.
