Bakery and Pastry chef

We are looking for a skilled and creative Bakery & Pastry Chef to lead the preparation and production of high-quality baked goods and desserts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking, strong technical expertise, and the ability to maintain consistency, quality, and presentation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and produce a wide range of bakery and pastry items including breads, cakes, pastries, desserts, and specialty items
  • Develop and innovate new recipes, menus, and seasonal offerings
  • Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all products
  • Monitor and control ingredient usage, food cost, and wastage
  • Maintain proper inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for ordering supplies
  • Supervise and train junior kitchen and bakery staff
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery and workstations
  • Work closely with management to meet business goals and customer expectations
  • Handle special orders, custom cakes, and event-based requirements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Bakery or Pastry Chef in a hotel, bakery, or restaurant
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
  • Creativity and attention to detail in presentation and design
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in high-volume production or luxury hospitality environments

Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR3,500.00 per month
