Position Overview: We are looking for a creative and skilled Cake Chef to craft a variety of delightful cakes for our diverse clientele. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about baking and eager to master our exclusive recipes and techniques. Comprehensive training on our specific recipes will be provided to ensure you can create our signature cakes with precision and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cake Preparation and Baking: Prepare and bake a variety of cakes following our proprietary recipes and quality standards. Ensure each product meets our high standards for taste and presentation.
• Recipe Execution: Utilize the training provided to master our specific recipes and baking techniques. Adapt to our unique methods to maintain consistency and quality.
• Decorating: Apply artistic decorating techniques to create visually stunning cakes. Use various tools and methods to achieve the desired designs and customer specifications.
• Inventory Management: Manage inventory of baking ingredients and supplies. Monitor stock levels, place orders as needed, and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Quality Control: Uphold stringent hygiene and cleanliness standards in the kitchen. Regularly check baked goods to ensure they meet our quality benchmarks.
• Customer Service: Engage with customers to understand their cake needs, offer suggestions, and fulfill custom orders. Ensure timely and accurate completion of orders.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the bakery and floral teams to support overall shop operations and assist with other tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience as a cake chef, pastry chef, or in a similar baking role is preferred but not required. A strong willingness to learn is essential.
• Skills: Proficiency in baking and cake decoration, with an eye for detail. Creativity and a passion for cake design are important.
• Training: Open to receiving detailed training on our specific recipes and techniques.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; culinary education or certification is a plus.
