Bakery Food Technologist

Job Purpose

To develop, improve, and maintain high-quality bakery products that meet the chain’s standards for taste, safety, shelf life, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop new bakery recipes and products in line with market trends and customer preferences.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards (FSSAI / HACCP / ISO 22000).
  • Supervise production trials and ensure consistent product quality across all branches.
  • Conduct sensory evaluations and quality tests for ingredients and finished products.
  • Optimize production processes for efficiency, yield, and sustainability.
  • Liaise with procurement to evaluate and approve raw material suppliers.
  • Document formulations, processes, and specifications for each product.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Bakery Science, or related discipline.
  • 3–7 years of experience in industrial or retail bakery product development.
  • Strong knowledge of bakery ingredients, processing methods, and quality assurance.
  • Attention to detail, creativity, and strong problem-solving skills.

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month
