Bakery & Kitchen Chef

Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and hands-on Bakery & Kitchen Chef who can manage daily operations while also contributing to new ideas and trending items that enhance our menu and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare baked items (cakes, cookies, desserts) and light kitchen items (breakfast, sandwiches)
  • Ensure speed, consistency, and quality during daily operations
  • Stay up to date with food and café trends and suggest new items regularly
  • Develop simple, trendy, and cost-effective menu additions
  • Maintain presentation standards aligned with modern café concepts
  • Manage stock, reduce waste, and control ingredient usage
  • Follow hygiene and food safety standards

Requirements

  • Experience in bakery and/or café kitchen
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong awareness of current dessert and café trends (e.g., viral items, social media trends)
  • Creative mindset with the ability to introduce new ideas
  • Team player with positive attitude

Preferred

  • Experience in trendy cafés or dessert concepts
  • Experience in menu development or launching new items
  • Basic knowledge of food costing and margins

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR2,000.00 - QAR3,500.00 per month
