We are seeking a talented and experienced Bakery Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in bread production, baked goods, and pastry items, with a passion for quality, consistency, and creativity. The Bakery Chef will be responsible for managing daily bakery operations, ensuring high standards of product quality, and leading the bakery team to deliver exceptional baked products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and baked goods according to recipes and quality standards.
  • Oversee daily bakery production and ensure timely preparation of all bakery items.
  • Maintain consistency in taste, appearance, and quality of all baked products.
  • Monitor ingredient inventory and coordinate with purchasing to ensure stock availability.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
  • Train and supervise bakery staff, providing guidance and support when needed.
  • Develop new bakery recipes and seasonal products to enhance the menu.
  • Control waste and maintain cost efficiency in bakery operations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Bakery Chef or Head Baker in a bakery, café, hotel, or restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of bread making, dough fermentation, and baking techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Culinary or baking certification is an advantage.
