BAKERY SHOP ASSISTANT

Location: Butter & Bread – Ibn Battuta Mall, Jebel Ali

Salary & Benefits

• AED 3,000 per month + Commission
• 10 Hours Duty per Day
• 1 Day Off per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to customer preferences.
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other café equipment.
• Provide outstanding customer service and create a positive experience for every guest.
• Take customer orders, process payments, and operate the POS system.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, including the work area, dining area, and restrooms.
• Follow all health, safety, and food sanitation standards.
• Assist with inventory management, stocking supplies, and replenishing ingredients.
• Recommend menu items and upsell products when appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve daily sales and service goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Barista, Shop Assistant, or in a similar café, bakery, or juice maker role in the UAE.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and experience handling cash and POS systems.
• Flexible to work weekends and public holidays.
• Passion for coffee, bakery products, and delivering excellent customer service.
• Applicants must currently reside near Ibn Battuta Mall or Jebel Ali.
