Bank Teller/Customer Service Representative

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. You will assist customers with their inquiries, resolve issues, and promote our financial services. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for helping others while being knowledgeable in financial products and services.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Assist customers with loan origination processes and provide guidance on financial products.
• Utilize financial software to manage customer accounts and transactions accurately.
• Detect and prevent fraud by monitoring customer transactions and reporting suspicious activities.
• Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional financial services to customers.
• Process transactions efficiently using cash registers and ensure accuracy in handling payments.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions for future reference.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and improve customer satisfaction.

Experience

• Previous experience in customer service is required, preferably within the financial services industry.
• Familiarity with financial software applications is a plus.
• Skills in fraud prevention detection are highly desirable.
• Experience in sales or financial sales is beneficial, particularly in upselling products or services.
• Proficiency in 10 key typing to ensure efficient data entry and transaction processing.
• A background in loan origination processes will be advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
