Bank Utility Representative

Job Title: Utility Representative

Reports To: Retail Sales and Service Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Summary: A Utility Representative is a role that delivers an exceptional experience through all

interactions, providing support to customers, branch teams and internal departments with a high degree

of accuracy and positive behavior. The position must be able to solve problems, multi-task and maintain

the highest level of professionalism. A Utility Representative performs multiple operational functions,

can fulfill the need at any Branch upon request, and migrate from one role to another to support any

employee absences, lunches and breaks as needed

.

BAC Standard Duties and Responsibilities:

· Perform work with the necessary attention to detail to minimize errors

· Understand the needs of your customers (internal and external) in order to provide extraordinary service

· Partner with team members both inside and outside of your immediate department

· Participate in and foster an atmosphere that maintains a high level of morale

· Remain open to personal and professional growth by learning new things on a daily basis

· Embrace technology used in the bank including, but not limited to workflows

· Achieve efficiency in your tasks, identify processes that can be improved and notify your supervisor of potential improvements

· Maintain compliance with all applications, regulations and laws

· Accept any new duties that may be added to your position (other duties as assigned)

· Understand and balance the needs to provide extraordinary customer service and minimize risk to the bank

· Create an atmosphere within the organization that attains and maintains a high level of morale

· Serve on task forces and committees as assigned

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Deliver exceptional customer service by handling requests with a sense of urgency and timeliness

o Complete all assigned tasks and workflows within the required specified timeframes

· Support activities to promote the growth of BAC and to support the bank’s brand

o Be knowledgeable on all bank products and services

o Able to effectively cross sell a product or service that benefits the customer’s needs

· Opening and Closing a Branch, when required

· Opening all types of New Accounts

· Flexible to work at multiple locations upon request

· Perform all teller and branch functions (including custodial duties, Branch Capture, etc.)

· Assists customer’s with requests or complaints and researches account problems

· Quotes rates, service charges, restrictions, and other relevant information about deposit accounts

· Performs Branch Certifications and Review

· Responsible for the approval of transactions within specified limits

· Generates CTR reports and other bank reports

· Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly report review

· Conducts Mystery Shops

· Supports branch in Manager’s absence

Qualifications: To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements as documented are representative of knowledge, and/or abilities needed to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.

· Education/Experience: High School diploma or equivalent and 5 years applicable experience.

· Language Ability: Ability to read, write, and understand English is required. Strong oral and written communication skills are a must in combination with the ability to explain complex bank functions within the scope of the job functionality.

· Math Ability: Must possess the ability to understand and interpret financial data. Must have the ability to work with mathematical and reconciliation concepts as well as general accounting standards.

· Computer Skills: Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, Telephone and ITI software with specific skills in operations software. Must have a strong knowledge of Fiserv Premier software program. Must be adept at accessing and utilizing information necessary to perform job functions. Type 35 words per minute and ten-key by touch.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
