The Sales Officer is responsible for promoting and selling banking products such as credit cards, personal loans, and other financial services to potential customers. The role involves achieving monthly sales targets, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring compliance with all bank and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell banking products (credit cards, personal loans, accounts, etc.) to new and existing customers.
- Achieve and exceed assigned monthly sales targets.
- Identify potential clients through cold calling, field visits, and referrals.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of bank products, features, and benefits.
- Assist customers in completing application forms and required documentation.
- Ensure all customer information is accurately captured and submitted in line with compliance standards.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Coordinate with internal teams and banks for smooth processing and approvals.
- Provide excellent customer service and post-sales support.
- Participate in training sessions, daily meetings, and team briefings.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in direct sales / outdoor sales, preferably in banking or financial services.
- Freshers with strong communication and interpersonal skills may also apply.

- Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Performance Targets:
- Minimum of 5 booked cards per month (as per company sales target policy).
