ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (Including, but not limited to):

Reviews and analyzes newly assigned and existing matters in order to provide legal representation until the matter is concluded.

Drafts all necessary documents to provide legal representation to clients and routes them through the appropriate office procedures to produce final documents.

Performs necessary legal research using all available resources including libraries and computer data systems.

Formulates and issues well-founded legal opinions to clients.

Effectively conducts negotiations, when appropriate, to resolve matters on behalf of clients.

Advises and communicates regularly with clients regarding the status of their matter.

Maintains membership in state bar and completes all required Continuing Legal Education requirements on an annual basis

Follows the ethical requirements as set forth by the Rules of Professional Conduct of the state and complies with all requirements of the firm's professional liability insurer.

Work requires more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position.
QUALIFICATIONS, REQUIRED:
-
Three plus years of experience, with a preference for relevant experience in representing banks, financial institutions, loan servicers, private secured lenders, and other secured lenders within one or more of the financial litigation, secured creditor, creditors' remedies, bankruptcy, and work-out practice areas.

Highly motivated and self-starter.

Strong analytical abilities.

Excellent computer and communication skills.

Experience with the following software: MS Office and Excel.

Excellent grammar, proofreading skills, and a keen eye for detail, ensuring high levels of accuracy in all written communications and document preparation.

Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks effectively, ensuring completion of assignments despite frequent interruptions and changes in schedule.
