Banquet Bartender/Banquet Server - Full Time

Description:
  • Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks for guests and the service bar using proper measuring techniques
  • Serve wine and other draught or bottled beer.
  • Collect money for drinks and food served.
  • Place bottled goods and glasses to make an attractive display.
  • Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.
  • Replenish supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes in bar area.
  • Notify a manager immediately of any guest complaints.
  • Use proper etiquette guidelines with guests.
  • Practice and observe all serve-safe rules and procedures.
  • Assist all service personnel in any duties as requested.

Assist in clearing pre-event areas and common areas of glasses and debris including basic cleaning

and


  • Prepare all dressings and cold sauces.
  • Ensure quality guest service and comfort at all times by monitoring the area continuously.
  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of all menu items, specials, beverages, wines, etc.
  • Serve all items utilizing appropriate china, glassware, silverware, garnish, and condiments.
  • Assist servers and set up housepersons if needed.
  • Immediately relay all guest complaints and compliments to management.
  • Maintain health and sanitation standards.
  • Maintain safe serve regulations when serving alcoholic beverages
  • Assist in setting tables with linen and basic silver and glass maintaining high standard of presentation
  • Assist in breaking down events and cleaning rooms after functions
Requirements:
  • Minimum lifting of 50 pounds.
  • Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
  • Minimum pulling of 50 pounds.
  • High school education preferred. Relevant training and experience required.
  • Ability to obtain required alcohol server certificate.
