Banquet & Events Sales Manager

Job Description

  • Managing customer relations, visiting existing customers at regular intervals and entertaining them at the Hotel.
  • Creating new business by making sales visits to potential customers, conducting house tours and promoting facilities and services of the property.
  • Preparing the banquet income budget, monthly and annual reports.
  • Developing strategies to achieve the goals set for the department and ensuring that the team implements them.
  • Determining the banquet menus, beverages and hall rental prices according to cost, season and yield management.
  • Ensuring that sales prices are presented and applied correctly by the entire team.
  • Responding to incoming requests in writing and verbally and following up the requests. Conducting site inspections.
  • Making sure that all requests coming to the department are answered and followed up by the team in a timely manner.
  • Preparing contracts and following up the terms and conditions.
  • Holding coordination meetings with organizers, preparing internal forms and managing weekly operations meetings with relevant departments.
  • Ensuring that all organizations are prepared and served in line with the wishes of the guests, from start to finish.
  • Handling of guest complaints and disputes following the hotel procedures.
  • Reporting and documentation of all conference & banquet event related issues and topics.

  • Experience in a similar role in a 5 star Hotel with a proven track record of minimum 3 years
  • Knowledge of local market -Knowledge of Opera and Salesforce system
  • Fluency in English
  • Passion for sales and for achieving targets and objectives
  • Knowledge of F&B operations & menus
  • Ability to follow technology closely and to use MS Office, Opera and Salesforce programs,
  • Completed military service (for male candidates)
