BASIC FUNCTION:

Will be responsible for finding / expolisering new markets under / with organization, coordination, and supervision of the Director of Food & Beverage with full coordination with Sales and Marketing Department, to achieve and maintain the highest standards and to maximize profitability. to comply with all the Restaurant Policies.

MAIN DUTIES:-

1. Assists in the Banqueting Sales daily activities.

2. Working hand on hand with the Sales and Marketing to solicit and develop corporate business in the prescribed corporate accounts and to sell Cedar Tree Restaurants on all sales calls.

3. Maintains contact with accounts through personal (visits) sales calls and written communication.

4. All leads and queries must be properly followed up and correct information passed on within 24 hours of receipt the request.

5. Follow up on all group requests along with the Group Coordinator or Banquets coordinator when no room nights are attached to the booking.

6. Maintain a close working relationship with the Front Office Manager, Reservations Department, Guest Relations and Sales & Marketing Department to maximize and direct sales efforts.

7. Attends major F&B and Sales and Marketing related functions within the restaurant.

8. Provide up-to-date call reports on all company visits with full account penetration information given to the Director of Operations on a weekly basis from Fidelio reports.

9. Maintain and update all filing with base date using central filing system, call reports and trace systems with respective accounts on Fidelio.

10. Establishes and continuously updates mailing lists.

11. Be aware of traditional high and low seasons, react and contract accordingly and be proactive.

12. Responsible for the execution of the special events agenda

13. Regularly monitor performance against set targets and be able to identify different source offices.

14. To execute restaurant programs and policies to ensure compliance with the Cedar Tree methods of work, control, standards, policies and procedures.

15. Responsible for contacting organizations (corporate and Government) & associations and commercial companies in order to establish contacts.

16. To ensure that the Banquet departments Sales efforts are maximized and that the functions themselves achieve the highest level of service and facilities.

17. To meet and exceed the Banquet monthly and yearly targets.

18. Provide beneficial feedback to the Director of Operations in order to achieve set goals and office procedure.

19. Follow-up and assist the Credit department on establishing Credit Facilities and billing on accounts.

20. Implement all Food and Beverage action plans related to the individual market segment as outlined in the business plan.

21. Meets with function group leaders to determine last minute changes and discuss various set-up arrangements.

22. Supervises and instructs personnel in setting up a function room to the desired specifications.

23. Assists in scheduling banquets, parties, services team coverage …etc.

24. Performs any other duties which may be allocated from time to time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
