Compensation: $24.00 an hour
Schedule: All applicants must be available weekends, nights, and holidays
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Communicate with supervisor throughout shift to ensure efficiency, and report any concerns (safety, service, guest concerns, etc.)

Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.

Assist in any setup/reset for the event to the supervisor’s / coordinator’s / guest’s specifications.

Perform any other tasks as requested by Management.

Be willing to assist fellow associates as needed and be a team player.

Follow all health and safety regulations and maintain banquet cleanliness in front and back of the house.

Attend roll call meetings before events to learn function particulars in order to exceed the guests’ expectations.

Set up banquet room as instructed by supervisor to include linen, service ware and glassware, with attention to detail.

Greet guests with a smile and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.

Serve food and/or beverage in the order and to the expectation of the supervisor to ensure consistency and efficiency throughout the banquet.

Promptly remove dishes as guests complete each course or meal.

Abide by all state, federal, and Ponte requirements pertaining to serving alcohol.

Replenish beverages as necessary and check for guest satisfaction.

Clean up after the event according to the supervisor specifications.

Must be available weekends, nights, and holidays.

Ability to bend and stand for long periods of time in hot conditions and walking and lifting up to 50 lbs

Ability to transport up to 30 lbs. on a tray through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout the shift

Ability to lift and move multiple tables and chairs and podiums weighing up to 50 lbs. through a crowded room

Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers with their job duties

Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Riverside County Food Handler's Card is required.

Ability to obtain and maintain a valid ABC RBS (Responsible Alcohol Beverage Service) Certification is required.
