Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout events
• Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table arrangements and presentation standards
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring proper presentation and timing
• Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as toast & sling
• Up sell menu items and beverage options to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and assisting with food handling procedures
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and address any guest needs promptly

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, preferably with banquet or fine dining experience
• Knowledge of POS systems
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Familiarity with beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy events
• Basic math skills for calculating bills and processing payments accurately
• Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation standards in the food industry is preferred
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting trays or setting up banquet spaces
