Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Banquet Supervisor to join our hospitality team in Riyadh. To lead and oversee all on-floor operations of catering, events, and hospitality services, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional service delivery. The Supervisor is responsible for managing teams and coordinating logistics. This role involves direct client interaction, site visits, operational execution, pre and post event preparation, accountable to the overall success of events.
Responsibilities

Conduct pre-event client meetings to understand their requirements and propose upselling opportunities.

Perform site visits to assess event locations, ensure suitability, and plan logistics such as setup, flow, and equipment needs.

Enter orders into the system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and maintain updated records.

Utilize event management systems and IT tools to streamline operations and monitor progress.

Handle professional email correspondence with clients, vendors, and internal teams to coordinate events.

Provide exceptional customer service during all stages of the event, ensuring guest satisfaction and addressing concerns promptly.

Supervise and guide the service team, delegating tasks to ensure smooth execution of events.

Oversee the catering setup, tables, cutlery, food, and event-specific equipment.

Ensure accurate receiving, handling, presentation, and service of food and beverages during events.

Monitor all aspects of service to maintain high standards of quality and hospitality.

Collaborate with kitchen staff, transportation teams, and other departments for seamless service delivery.

Oversee supplies, equipment, and stock levels, ensuring readiness for events.

Address and resolve guest concerns or operational disruptions promptly and professionally.

Supervise cleanup, equipment storage, and other post-event activities.

Mentor and train team members to enhance performance and adhere to company standards.

Ensure the team adheres to event schedules and completes tasks efficiently.

Enforce strict compliance with company policies, hygiene standards, and safety regulations.

Provide detailed feedback and reports to higher management on event outcomes and team performance.

Ensure personalized attention and exceptional service to guests throughout the event.

Act as a liaison between the team, clients, and management to ensure operational success.

Assist the COO, and Department Managers with additional responsibilities as required.
Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role in catering, events, or hospitality settings.

Presentable, well-groomed, and hospitable, with strong communication skills.

Saudi and Non-Saudi nationalities.

Strong leadership abilities to supervise, motivate, and manage teams effectively.

Advanced knowledge of food handling, service procedures, and safety regulations.

Proficiency in data entry, event management systems, and basic IT tools.

Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on upselling and ensuring satisfaction.

Strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities and coordinate events.
