Banquet Supervisor - voco Cairo Arabella Plaza

We are looking for a Banquet Supervisor who will play a key role in leading banquet operations, ensuring seamless event execution, and delivering exceptional service in line with IHG standards.

A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different at IHG, but you’ll mostly be:

  • Supervising and coordinating banquet setup, service, and breakdown for events of various sizes.
  • Ensuring all events are executed according to guest requirements, hotel standards, and function sheets.
  • Leading, training, and motivating the banquet team to deliver exceptional guest service.
  • Monitoring staff performance, providing feedback, and supporting career development.
  • Working closely with the culinary team, F&B management, and event planners to ensure smooth operations.
  • Managing inventory, equipment, and supplies for banquet events.
  • Handling guest feedback and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensuring compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations at all times.
  • Promoting upselling opportunities, loyalty program enrollments, and in-house services to maximize revenue.

What we need from you:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality or related field.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in Food & Beverage or Banqueting operations within a 4/5-star hotel.
  • At least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Good English is required; additional languages are a plus.
