Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Take accurate orders from guests using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces to adhere to food safety standards.
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures; process payments efficiently.
• Restock bar supplies regularly and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages during busy hours.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering events or banquet functions to ensure seamless service delivery in various settings like nightclubs or food industry events.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially within fine dining or nightlife venues such as nightclubs or banquet settings.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for order entry and sales processing.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and ability to engage diverse guests confidently.
• Familiarity with food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and proper beverage preparation techniques.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations.
• Experience in catering or large event service to handle high-volume serving scenarios professionally.
