Bar Server

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring consistency and quality in every drink.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Checking in or greeting golfers when a pro-shop attendant is not available or on shift
• Manage cash handling and POS (Point of Sale) transactions accurately using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety at all times.
• Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages efficiently during shifts.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service, catering events, or banquet functions as needed.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Follow all food handling, safety regulations, and alcohol service laws diligently.
• Assist in setting up for special events like nightclub nights or private banquets to enhance guest experience.
• Checking server side work and making sure they are completed before they receive cash from Z Report
• Sorting bottles and having them in appropriate boxes for distributers to pick up
• Providing inventory report periodically of items that need to be replenished

Skills

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings; retail math and basic math skills are essential for cash handling and sales transactions.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; strong cash handling abilities required.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
• Experience in food industry roles involving serving, catering, or food handling is highly desirable.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.
