Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in a vibrant environment. The Barback will support bartenders by ensuring that the bar is well-stocked, clean, and organized while providing excellent customer service. This role is essential in maintaining the flow of operations during busy shifts and enhancing the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders with drink preparation and service during high-volume periods.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Stock and replenish supplies such as liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice as needed.
• Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to ensure the bar is adequately stocked.
• Bus tables and clear empty glasses or plates from the bar area to maintain a tidy environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and responding to their needs promptly.
• Assist with food preparation for bar snacks or small plates when necessary.

Skills

• Strong cleaning skills to maintain a hygienic work environment.
• Experience in food preparation and knowledge of food handling practices.
• Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred.
• Background in food service or catering is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Strong customer service orientation with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
• Experience in bussing tables and serving in a fast-paced environment is beneficial.
