Job Title: Barge Captain / Landing Craft Captain
Location: Oman
Salary: AED 6,000 – 8,000 per month

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Barge Captain / Landing Craft Captain to operate and manage marine vessels safely and efficiently in Oman. The candidate must have strong marine navigation knowledge, leadership skills, and experience handling barges or landing crafts for marine and offshore operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and navigate barge or landing craft safely according to maritime regulations
• Ensure safe loading, unloading, and transportation of cargo, equipment, and personnel
• Monitor vessel operations, weather conditions, and safety procedures
• Supervise deck crew and coordinate daily marine activities
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks of the vessel
• Maintain logbooks, voyage records, and operational reports
• Ensure compliance with marine safety standards and company policies
• Coordinate with port authorities, marine engineers, and project teams

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Barge Captain or Landing Craft Captain
• Valid marine competency certificates/licenses
• Experience in offshore, marine construction, or logistics operations preferred
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Knowledge of marine safety regulations and navigation systems
• Physically fit and able to work in marine environments
