The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving coffee and matcha beverages company standards, ensuring consistency, speed, cleanliness, and food safety compliance. This role directly impacts product quality, guest satisfaction, and brand reputation.

Scope of Role

Coffee and matcha beverage preparation

 Recipe adherence and quality control

 Bar station setup, calibration, and cleanliness

 Support FOH during service flow

 Escalation of quality, allergen, or equipment issues

Key Performance Measures

 Drink quality and consistency (taste, texture, visuals)

 Speed of beverage preparation during peak

 Order accuracy and remake rate

 Compliance with recipes and specifications

 Bar cleanliness and audit scores

 Guest feedback related to beverages

Compliance & Food Safety Responsibilities

 Follow all food safety, hygiene, and handwashing procedures

 Maintain temperature control for milk, alternatives, and prepared items

 Never guess allergen content; escalate to PIC/Manager

 Use only approved ingredients, recipes, and tools

 Complete opening, mid-shift, and closing bar checks when assigned
