Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and care.
• Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly service to enhance their experience.
• Operate POS systems such as Toast efficiently for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas.
• Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks, including assembling sandwiches or snacks as needed.

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Toast is advantageous.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately using cash handling skills; basic math proficiency is essential.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper serving techniques.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
