Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
• Greet customers warmly, taking orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with integrity and accuracy
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by following proper food handling and preparation procedures
• Assist in food service tasks, including basic food preparation and serving snacks or light meals when needed
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction
• Engage with customers to promote products, upsell items, and enhance their overall experience

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and café operations
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk comfortably around the café, and lift moderate weights when necessary
• Experience in the food industry or retail math is a plus but not required
