Barista

DESCRIPTION

The Barista is responsible for creating a memorable customer experience by delivering fast, friendly service and consistent, high-quality products. This role involves performing all duties in accordance with company processes and maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet and connect with each customer.
• Welcome questions and provide education on our products.
• Suggestively sell add-on beverage features, gift cards, and merchandise.
• Take orders, enter sales, and process payments promptly and courteously.
• Manage cash drawer in accordance with established cash handling procedures.
• Prepare all customer orders following recipe and aesthetic guidelines.
• Deliver products within established speed of service guidelines and identify drinks upon delivery.
• Operate and maintain the cleanliness of all store equipment.
• Optimize workflow by restocking workstations, food, supplies, and merchandise.
• Maintain cleanliness in coworker and customer areas.
• Demonstrate genuine appreciation for each customer.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Passion for people and customer service.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Commitment to mastering brand recipes and techniques.
• Dependability and punctuality.
• Energetic, adaptable, and flexible work style.
• Quick learner with problem-solving abilities and multitasking skills.
• Previous Barista experience is a plus but not required - WE WILL INVEST IN TRAINING AMAZING PEOPLE!
