Barista

Stomping Grounds, a multi-award winning Aussie Cafe with accolades such as Dubai's Best Breakfast, Best Independent Cafe etc; is looking to recruit Baristas in line with the growing business. If you have worked in a fast paced modern cafe environment and you are able to work under pressure, you could be the one for the job.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and serve great espresso and coffee drinks
• Excellent knowledge of coffees, their origins, their flavours, notes and aromas, along with the various methods of brewing, preparation and presentation.
• Conduct scheduled Cupping, Brewing and Espresso Workshops.
• Good latte art skills.
• Actively work towards creating a superior Café experience through customer service, beverage preparation and presentation, in-store marketing and the upkeep and maintenance of coffee areas

Our IDEAL BARISTA should:

• Have minimum three years experience working with specialty coffee and should be a qualified barista.
• Have plenty of cupping experience.
• Be physically capable of working around 9 hours a day
• Have sharp attention to detail
• Have a love of coffee and thirst for knowledge with the ability to interact and share knowledge with customers.
• Have excellent communication skills and charm in abundance, with excellent guest service skills
• Have the ability to deal with immense pressure and work quickly whilst maintaining consistently high standards
• Have demonstrative ability to work well within a team
