Job Overview
Join our vibrant café team as a passionate and energetic Barista, delivering exceptional customer service while crafting high-quality coffee and beverages. Ideally you have experience as a barista, managing POS systems, and ensuring food safety standards.

Availability on weekends and into the summer is a must.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Operate POS system to process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
• Follow food safety protocols and food handling guidelines to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff

Experience

• Previous barista experience in a café or coffee shop setting is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Washington state food handlers permit or willing to get it
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced retail or café environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.13 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 12 per week
