**Job Summary:**

As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages, providing exceptional customer service, maintaining cleanliness, and creating an engaging and friendly atmosphere for our patrons. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a passion for coffee and a dedication to delivering high-quality customer service.

**Responsibilities:**

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, wine, beer and menu items according to company recipes and standards.

-Prepare and serve a delicious assortment of pastries and breakfast items, sandwiches, snacks and pizza ensuring that each item complements the quality and standards of our brand.

- Welcome and engage with customers in a friendly and courteous manner, ensuring a positive experience with every interaction.

- Take and process customer orders accurately and efficiently, offering recommendations and information about products when needed.

- Operate and maintain coffee-making equipment, ensuring proper cleaning, maintenance, and adherence to health and safety standards.

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the preparation area, serving areas, and customer seating, to ensure a welcoming environment.

- Handle cash and card transactions, including operating the point-of-sale system, accurately managing payments and providing customers with receipts.

- Monitor and restock inventory as needed, ensuring that supplies are well-stocked and displayed attractively.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations during busy periods.

**Requirements:**

- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a cafe, restaurant, or hospitality setting.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on cleanliness and maintaining a hygienic work environment.

- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of quality.

- Knowledge of coffee-making equipment and techniques is advantageous but not essential; willingness to learn and adapt is key.

- Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for weekends and holidays.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Certification in food handling and safety standards is a plus.

- Familiarity with various types of coffee beans, brewing methods, and latte art.

**Working Conditions:**

This role involves standing for extended periods, working in a fast-paced environment, and may involve lifting and carrying supplies. The working hours may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the business's operational hours.

Job Types: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: Both part-time and full-time positions available.

Requirement: Must be 18 or older, 21 or older preferred for most positions.

Experience:

• Guest services: 1 year (Preferred)
• Barista experience: 1 year (Preferred)
