Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair.
• Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and handle transactions efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation and food handling to meet food safety standards.
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties, ensuring accurate cash and card transactions.
• Assist in food service and food preparation, including assembling food items and maintaining inventory levels.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, offering recommendations, and resolving concerns promptly.
• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards, adhering to all health regulations and safety procedures.
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers quickly during busy periods, demonstrating strong retail math and cash handling skills.
• Support team members with food industry best practices, including serving, food handling, and basic math for sales and inventory.
• Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and supporting store operations.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Barista or in food service, with a strong understanding of coffee and café operations.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and energetic demeanor.
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities to handle high-volume periods efficiently.
• Knowledge of food safety, food handling, and food preparation standards.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience in the food industry, retail math, and cashiering is preferred.
