DESCRIPTION

The Barista creates a memorable customer experience by providing fast, friendly service and consistent, quality products. This role is responsible for performing all job duties in a manner consistent with current company processes and procedures and maintaining all food safety and sanitation standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure consistent and quality customer experience by executing brand beverage recipes and techniques, resolving customer relations issues, and leading the team in delivering the Scooter’s “Amazing” customer service experience Maintain speed of service standards during high-volume periods by staying calm, managing an efficient team workflow, anticipating customer needs, and utilizing downtime to prepare for the next rush Assist the Store Manager in onboarding and training new team members Develop effective working relationships with team members, identifying individual motivation factors Proactively seek opportunities to increase individual and team sales Understand and execute cash handling, point of sale system, and operational procedures in an accurate, consistent manner Ensure team members follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines Serve as a keyholder, following all opening and closing procedures Demonstrate punctuality, dependability, and adaptability www.scooterscoffee.com Assist Store Manager with administrative duties as requested
