Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair.
• Greet customers warmly, taking their orders accurately while providing excellent customer service.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cashiering duties with integrity and attention to detail.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by properly handling food items and adhering to food safety protocols.
• Assist in food preparation and food handling tasks to ensure quality and freshness of all offerings.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high standards of service.
• Support the café’s daily operations by managing inventory, restocking supplies, and ensuring the workspace is organized.

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for sales transactions and cash handling accurately.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Experience in serving or retail math is a plus for managing sales efficiently.
