Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient cash handling and transactions
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
• Ensure food safety standards are met through proper food handling, preparation, and sanitation practices
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly without sacrificing quality
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks and restocking supplies to keep the café running smoothly

Experience

• Previous barista experience or background in the food service or retail industry is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
• Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing
• Experience in coffee preparation, serving beverages, and food industry standards is a plus
