Role Overview

The Barista at Phuketique is responsible for delivering an exceptional coffee experience by preparing high-quality beverages and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for guests. The role requires attention to detail, passion for coffee, and the ability to maintain Phuketique’s premium standards in both product quality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve specialty coffee, matcha, and signature Phuketique beverages according to brand standards.
• Ensure consistent quality in every drink, including presentation and taste.
• Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and bar equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service and engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and service area at all times.
• Support preparation and presentation of Phuketique signature items (such as burnt butter toast and desserts).
• Restock ingredients, milk, syrups, and other bar supplies.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and operational procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing duties when required.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a barista or in a café environment is preferred.
• Passion for coffee and specialty beverages.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Skills

• Latte art skills
• Knowledge of specialty coffee and brewing methods
• Customer engagement and upselling

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
