Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Operate Toast POS systems to process orders accurately and efficiently
• Engage with customers warmly, providing friendly service and answering questions about menu items
• Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic retail math to ensure accurate transactions
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and throughout the café
• Assist in food handling, food preparation, and serving snacks or light meals as needed
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality

Looking for:

• Previous barista experience or strong coffee industry knowledge is great, not required
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and active listening abilities
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks involved in food service
• Experience in serving, food preparation, or retail environments is a plus
