Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and specialty drinks with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Operate POS systems s.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering and basic math calculations for transactions.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and addressing special requests promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas, adhering to food handling regulations.
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as serving snacks or light meals to enhance the guest experience.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety standards.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Barista or in the food service industry is highly preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage recipes.
• Experience using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales transactions.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor.
• Ability to handle cash accurately, perform retail math confidently, and manage food handling procedures responsibly.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.

This JOB opening if mostly for morning shift. Applicant must have flexibility.

Pay: $13.50 - $14.00 per hour
