Barista – Luxury Resort (Premium Beverage Specialist)

We are seeking a true artisan of coffee and beverages to join our world-class hospitality team. As a Barista, you will go beyond preparing drinks—you will curate a refined sensory experience for our international guests. This role demands a sophisticated blend of technical expertise, creativity, and the exceptional standard of service expected in a five-star environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesCraft Excellence

  • Prepare and serve a full range of premium beverages including:
  • Espresso-based coffees
  • Manual brews (V60, French Press, Aeropress, Moka Pot, Vietnam Drip)
  • Specialty teas and signature non-coffee beverages
  • Ensure every beverage meets the highest quality, taste, and presentation standards

Technical Mastery

  • Operate and maintain espresso machines and all bar equipment efficiently
  • Execute proper calibration and dial-in processes to ensure optimal extraction
  • Maintain consistency in grind size, dosing, and brewing techniques
  • Demonstrate advanced milk steaming techniques and create high-quality latte art

Innovation & Creativity

  • Contribute to seasonal beverage menus and signature drink development
  • Introduce creative and bespoke beverage concepts aligned with luxury standards

Guest Engagement

  • Deliver personalized service and engage guests with confidence and professionalism
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations based on guest preferences
  • Create memorable and elevated guest experiences

Quality Control & Hygiene

  • Maintain strict standards for:
  • Bean freshness and storage
  • Equipment cleanliness and maintenance
  • Bar hygiene and organization
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations

Team Development

  • Support, train, and mentor junior baristas
  • Promote consistency in beverage preparation and service standards across the team

Candidate ProfileExperience

  • Minimum 5+ years in premium, high-volume, or luxury hospitality environments

Technical Skills

  • Expertise in:
  • Espresso machine operation
  • Manual brewing methods (V60, Aeropress, French Press, etc.)
  • Milk texturing and latte art
  • Coffee calibration and dial-in techniques
  • Strong knowledge of coffee origins, roasting profiles, and flavor notes
  • Ability to prepare non-coffee beverages (mocktails, teas, specialty drinks)

  • Excellent communication and intermediate to advanced English language skills
