Barista

We are looking for full-time and part-time Baristas for a breakfast and lunch café in the heart of Woodside.

The Little Store is a beloved neighborhood café and flower shop. We are a small but mighty team committed to serving quality coffee, seasonal food, and fresh flowers in a warm and welcoming environment.

You must be able to move fast when necessary and have excellent customer service. This is a fun job with a great team in a small-town feel community. You'll have regular customers, work in a beautiful space, and make money while making friends.

Must be available to work on the weekends.

Barista Responsibilities:

• Provide unmatched hospitality to customers
• Prepare and serve coffee beverages including espresso and drip coffees and teas
• Stay knowledgeable about our coffee partnerships and current offerings
• Continually cultivate your curiosity, knowledge and skills within the industry
• Be a team player by taking part in tasks that keep the cafe running smoothly including maintaining tidiness and functionality of daily operations
• Maintain current health, food, and safety guidelines
• Be an active participant in a safe and respectful work environment

Barista qualifications and experience:

• Previous experience as a barista is highly preferred.
• Work efficiently within a team environment
• Excellent at multitasking while remaining composed during busy times
• Deliver exceptional customer service and professionalism, with a friendly and approachable attitude

Barista skills and abilities

• Understanding of The Little Store values and standards
• Ability to keep a calm and professional, demeanor at all times
• Must possess a desire to learn and grow in a small and dynamic team
• Ability to stand and walk for 4+ hours
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs

• operating Toast POS system
• excellent customer service
• keeping a clean workstation
• showing up to your shifts on time!

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
